Daisy Diamond is a story about Anna, who has only one dream: to become an actress. On day, without telling her mother or father, Anna travels to Copenhagen to pursue her dream. Once in the city, however, Anna discovers that fate has something else in store for her when she is pregnant. Though she struggles to give her daughter a good life, she fails to unite her dream of acting with a safe environment for her child, fails and culminating in a desperate act that has fatal consequences.
Sioux Falls Feminists endorse Daisy Diamond for being one of the most brutally honest films about the abuse of a child and the abuse of a woman.
